Crevsk looked at Diana suspiciously as his mind was touched by a human for the first time. He eyed her for a moment longer before letting his gaurd back down and sending back a greytone image of contentness.
Julisk also had to stop to rest. She was getting hungry and she had to eat for her entire clutch.

Daina smiled, mirroring the feeling back. Seeing the gore that still speckled his hide from his meal, she sent a questioning image of the feeding grounds, and then an image of the weyrlake, and oiling. Crevsk wasn't all that clean, after all... Daina would bathe him, if the Bronze permitted it. The Weyrlake was probably empty, with everyone up looking at the stalls...

Crevsk became wary once again. What was this human asking to do to him? And in water? He had only went to the lake for a drink, but he had never imagined actually getting -in- it. He looked first in the direction of the lake then at Daisk to see what she thought about the whole ordeal.
"I need to get back to Waric. He'll be wondering where I went," Juliana said, not letting anyone offer to feed Julisk. "I'll get in touch with you," she said to Daina over her shoulder before calling a reluctant Julisk to follow her.

"I will await your words, then... And I offer you and Julisk the best of luck that you can find. " Daina smiled sadly after the pair, keeping herself open to listen to the other two whers. Daisk crooned, sending her thoughts of pleasure, of the fun in the water, and the feel of scrubbing and oiling. Eyes were bright at the idea, and she shifted happily towards the lake, ignoring the fact that she had been already had a bath earlier in the day.

Well, the water couldn't be -that- bad, right? Hauling himself to his feet, Crevsk nodded for the gold to take the lead to the water. A cautious eye stayed focused on Daina. So far, humans had been nothing but trouble for him.
Of course, with a Beastmaster ready to skin him alive aftr finding the disgaurded carcass, only more trouble could come to him.

Daina, deciding the bronze didn't need to have to worry about her behind him, moved over to walk at Daisk's side. Absently, fingers scratched at the ridges along her eyes, getting a soft croon. As they reached the water's edge, Daisk happily splashed in to the shallows, making her way out until the waters reached her shoulders. She gave a playful snort towards Crevsk as Daina removed her boots. She hesitated at her dress, but deciding there was no need to drench the fien fabric, she shed it to. Clad in only her underclothes, she moved in to the water herself, laughing softly.

Crevsk approached the water, taking a few laps of it before testing it with his front feet. He got just up to what would be his elbows and stopped. Those two made it look so easy, so he could do it too. So, he took another step further and slipped off the quickly dropping ledge. He flailed and grunted until he managed to claw his way back out. He scowled at Daina as if she had lied to him about the water's saftey. That thing tried to eat him!

Daina smiled, carefully swimming over to the young wher, Daisk following behind. She floated in front of Crevsk, punctuating the way she swam, as Daina tried to give him helpful images of swimming. She sat at the edge of the ledge, allowing the water to swirl around her shoulders with a smile. "It isn't so hard, really..."

he snorted again, unconvinced, but he tried anyways. Lowering the front half of his body into the watter he began to paddle. Sliding the rest of the way in, he held his wings out for support. Slowly, he began moving about more confidently. See, he told them he could do it. Who had said he couldn't?

Daisk snorted, slipping herself under the water to appear further off. Daina chuckled herself at the little bronze, pushing herself off the ledge to swim out herself. It was a nice night, and with the weyrlake deserted... Quite pleasant.

Crevsk was enjoying himself and the bath felt good, but he was getting more and more unsteady about being so far away from the saftey of his caves. The was a shrill, disgruntled call from the air to which Crevsk replied with a grumble of his own. The bronze emerged from the water, sending a thought that bordered on 'fun' to Daina before following the gold sandlizard at a quick trot back to where he disappeared into the shadows once more.
